데이터 신뢰성과 관련된 ISO25012를 번역한 글입니다.

 

Inherenct Data Quality, 내재적 데이터 품질 

• the degree to which quality characteristics of data have the intrinsic potential to satisfy stated and implied needs when data is used under specified conditions. 지정된 조건 하에서 데이터를 사용할 때, 데이터가 품질 관련 요구사항을 만족하는 것
• 데이터 값 간 관계(relationships of data values), 메타데이터(metadata), 도메인 값 및 제약조건(data domain values and possible restrictions)에 대한 품질

  • Accuracy, 정확성 : the true value of the intended attribute of a concept or event in a specific context of use. 데이터가 개념이나 사건의 실제 값을 정확하게 나타내고 있는가
    
    • Syntactic Accuracy : the closeness of the data values to a set of values defined in a domain considered syntactically correct. 도메인 내에서 정의된 대로 정확한 구문을 나타내고 있는가
    • Semantic Accuracy : the closeness of the data values to a set of values defined in a domain considered semantically correct. 도메인 내에서 정의된 대로 정확한 의미를 나타내고 있는가
  • Completeness, 완전성 : The degree to which subject data associated with an entity has values for all expected attributes and related entity instances in a specific context of use. 데이터가 필요한 속성 및 관련 구성 요소를 모두 가지고 있는가
  • Consistency, 일관성 : The degree to which data has attributes that are free from contradiction and are coherent with other data in a specific context of use. 다른 데이터와 상충되지 않으며 일관성을 가지는가
  • Credibility, 신뢰성 : The degree to which data has attributes that are regarded as true and believable by users in a specific context of use. 데이터가 실제 값으로 여겨지며 사용자가 믿을 수 있는가
  • authenticity, 확실성을 포함하는 개념
  • Currentness, 최신성 : The degree to which data has attributes that are of the right age in a specific context of use.데이터가 너무 오래되지는 않았는가

 

System-Dependent Data Quality, 시스템 종속적 데이터 품질

• the degree to which data quality is reached and preserved within a computer system when data is used under specified conditions. 지정된 조건 하에서 데이터를 사용할 때, 컴퓨터 시스템 내에서 일정 수준 이상의 데이터 품질을 달성 및 유지하는 것
• 컴퓨터 시스템 구성요소의 성능에 따라 달라짐
• 하드웨어 기기(hardware devices), 컴퓨터 시스템 소프트웨어(computer system software), 기타 소프트웨어(other software)에 의해 달성됨

  • Availability, 가용성 : The degree to which data has attributes that enable it to be retrieved by authorized users and/or applications in a specific context of use. 승인된 사용자 및 어플리케이션이 데이터를 검색할 수 있는가
  • Portability, 이식성 : The degree to which data has attributes that enable it to be installed, replaced or moved from one system to another preserving the existing quality in a specific context of use. 시스템의 변동에도 데이터의 품질을 변함없이 유지할 수 있는가 
  • Recoverability : The degree to which data has attributes that enable it to maintain and preserve a specified level of operations and quality, even in the event of failure, in a specific context of use. 시스템의 실패에도 데이터가 일정 수준 이상의 작업과 품질을 유지 및 보존할 수 있는가

 

Inherenct and System-Dependent Data Quality

• Accessibility, 접근성 : The degree to which data can be accessed in a specific context of use, particularly by people who need supporting technology or special configuration because of some disability. 기술적 지원이 필요한 사람들이 데이터에 접근할 수 있는가
• Compliance, 규정 준수: The degree to which data has attributes that adhere to standards, conventions or regulations in force and similar rules relating to data quality in a specific context of use. 데이터가 데이터 품질과 관련된 표준, 규정 및 이에 준하는 규칙을 만족하는가
• Confidentiality, 보안성 : The degree to which data has attributes that ensure that it is only accessible and interpretable by authorized users in a specific context of use. 승인된 사용자 외에는 접근 및 해석이 불가능한가
• Efficiency, 효율성 : The degree to which data has attributes that can be processed and provide the expected levels of performance by using the appropriate amounts and types of resources in a specific context of use. 데이터가 적절한 자원을 사용하여 기대한 수준의 성능을 제공할 수 있는가
• Precision, 정밀성 : The degree to which data has attributes that are exact or that provide discrimination in a specific context of use. 데이터가 정확하거나 식별성이 있는 정보를 제공하는가
• Traceability, 추적성 : The degree to which data has attributes that provide an audit trail of access to the data and of any changes made to the data in a specific context of use. 데이터에 대한 접근과 변경 사항을 추적할 수 있는가
• Understandability, 이해 가능성 : The degree to which data has attributes that enable it to be read and interpreted by users, and are expressed in appropriate languages, symbols and units in a specific context of use. 사용자가 이해할 수 있도록 적절한 언어와 기호, 단위로 표현된 데이터인가
